A man has been charged with a knifepoint robbery in Bangor city centre.
It happened at Stop and Shop on the High Street at around 2.30pm on Friday afternoon (5th April) – detectives said no one was injured in the raid.
A 39 year-old man was arrested shortly afterwards and charged with robbery with possessing an offensive weapon.
He did not enter a plea when he appeared before Llandudno magistrates during a special weekend court on Saturday.
The man was remanded in custody and will appear before a judge at Caernarfon Crown Court on Tuesday 7th May.
