A Dublin couple accused of people smuggling have been remanded in custody until the New Year.
Dean Hickey, and his partner, Nisjeta Papa, face three charges of breaching immigration law by helping six Albanians through the port of Holyhead in August and September.
Border Force officers stopped Hickey’s car in October and found four Albanian passengers travelling with him.
The pair entered no pleas when they appeared before Llandudno magistrates on Saturday – but both were refused bail.
Hickey (29) and Papa (29) will appear before a judge at Caernarfon Crown Court on Wednesday 2nd January.
