Anthony Haigh: fresh appeal for missing Holyhead man

Nearly six months since he was last seen alive, a fresh appeal has been launched in the search for missing Holyhead man Anthony Haigh.

Mr Haigh (49) disappeared from the town on Friday 23rd February – he was seen by the the traffic lights on Tan Alltran Close, Richmond Hill at around 3.30pm that day.

Just over six hours later, he was captured on CCTV walking along Baptist Street carrying a bike.

Mr Haigh was described at the time as around 5’9” tall with a fair complexion, stocky build and short brown hair. He was last seen wearing a dark jumper, jeans and Adidas trainers.

In a direct appeal on behalf of his family, Missing People UK said: ”Anthony, we are here for you whenever you are ready – we can listen, talk you through what help you need, pass a message for you and help you to be safe.”

A North Wales Police spokesperson said: ”Should any person have any information in relation to Anthony, no matter how trivial you feel it is, please get in touch.”
