Woman seriously injured in Bangor hit and run

A woman has been seriously injured in a hit and run collision in Bangor.

Police say the woman was struck by a car on Glynne Road at just before 7.45pm on Monday evening (11th December) – the vehicle had already left the scene.

She was taken by ambulance to Ysbyty Gwynedd but her injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Detetectives are now examining CCTV footage and are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen a dark coloured car, possibly a Ford Mondeo or a similar type, to come forward.

Sergeant Raymond Williams from the Roads Policing Unit in Llandygai said: ”We are appealing for anybody who may have been in the area of Glynne Road and the High Street around the time of the collision to contact us.”
