Woman dies after Cemaes Bay sea rescue

An elderly woman who was rescued from the sea at Cemaes Bay has died in hospital.

Coastguard and ambulance crews were called out after Beverley Addyman was found in the water at around 2.45pm on Tuesday afternoon (11th August).

The coastguard helicopter from Caernarfon Airport also attended the scene.

The 81 year-old from Wallasey, Merseyside, pulled from the water and taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor, where she later died.

North West Wales coroner Dewi Pritchard Jones said a post-mortem examination would be held to determine the cause of Ms Addyman’s death.
