Two men arrested after Menai Bridge robbery

Two men have been arrested after a robbery outside a pub in Menai Bridge.

Detectives say a man was threatened with a knife while he was walking in the car park of the Four Crosses on Ffordd Penmynydd at just after 9.30am on Monday (9th July). Cash was taken from him but the victim escaped injury.

The two suspects, both from Bangor – aged 30 and 22 – remain in custody on suspicion of robbery.

North Wales Police

On Tuesday, police tracked down a silver Volkswagen Golf mark 4 car in connection with the robbery. They’re still appealing for witnesses or anyone who noticed any suspicious activity to come forward.
