Two in hospital after A5 crash

Two people are in hospital after a three-vehicle crash on the A5 in Holyhead.

London Road was closed for around five and a half hours following the collision near the Iceland supermarket at just before 3pm on Friday afternoon (1st February).

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service said one woman had to be cut free from her car following the crash.

A man and a woman were taken by two ambulances to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor with non life-threatening injuries.

The road between Penrhos Beach Road and the A5153 was reopened at around 8.30pm.
