Four North West clubs are still in the running for the FAW Trophy after a weekend of shocks.
Dafydd Jones’ two goals helped upset the form book as Pwllheli beat unbeaten Welsh Alliance pacesetters Nantlle Vale 3-2 on Saturday.
They face another tough ask in the fifth round, visiting a Corwen side who have lost only once in the Welsh National League.
Elsewhere, Bodedern Athletic scalped 2017 winners Chirk AAA – Aidan Clark scored the only goal in a 1-0 victory.
Their reward is a home clash with Mid Wales League side Four Crosses, who knocked out Wrexham club Rhos Aelwyd.
There’s also a local derby in the draw for the last sixteen as Llanrug United host Llangefni Town. Llanrug eased to a 4-2 win at home to Llanfair United – Joni Sadler scoring twice – but Welsh Alliance leaders Cefni narrowly got past Brymbo 1-0, thanks to Iwan Jones.
Coincidentally, Llangefni and Llanrug meet at Cae Bob Parry in Division One action on Wednesday night (7.30pm ko).
