Three people are in hospital after a head-on crash between two cars on the outskirts of Penysarn.
A driver was seriously injured in the collision involving a grey Saab and a blue Peugeot 208 on the A5025 at just before 6.30pm on Friday evening (8th June).
Police say the Saab was travelling towards Benllech and the Peugeot was heading towards Amlwch.
One of the drivers was flown by air ambulance to a specialist trauma unit at the Royal Stoke University Hospital. Two other casualties were taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor for treatment. Their condition remains unknown.
The road was closed near the junction for Penysarn on Chapel Street for over four hours and local diversions remained in place while an investigation into the crash begins.
