Three charged with Caernarfon minibus theft

Three people have been charged with stealing a minibus in Caernarfon.

They all stand accused of aggravated unauthorised taking of a white Ford Transit vehicle from the Castle Hill area on Monday evening.

Two men, Kieran McGuiness (24) from Talysarn and Graham Williams (29) from Treborth, appeared before Llandudno magistrates on Wednesday.

The incident led to a rooftop standoff at a nearby bakery on Bangor Road, allegedly involving McGuinness throwing slates towards police officers. He has also been charged with motoring offences.

A third suspect, a 20 year-old woman from Llangefni, has been released on police bail. She will appear before magistrates in Caernarfon on Tuesday 12th June.
