Teen arrested after ‘nasty’ Bethesda robbery

A teenager has been arrested after a man was attacked during a high street robbery in Bethesda.

A 20 year-old man was walking in the town centre at around 1.30am last Saturday (15th June) when he was knocked unconscious. His mobile phone was stolen along with cash.

An 18 year-old local man was arrested a few days after the assault but has since been released on conditional bail.

PC Daniel Dent at Bangor police station said: ”This was a nasty attack as the victim was knocked unconscious, therefore we are appealing to anybody who may have witnessed the incident or who may have information to contact us.”

Detectives are also examining CCTV footage of the scene as part of their investigation
