Six people have been charged with kidnapping a child on Anglesey.
The child was allegedly abducted at knifepoint on Wednesday afternoon (4th November) – they were found unharmed after a car was stopped in Northamptonshire that evening.
One of the suspects is also accused of possessing a bladed knife. All six adults have been remanded in custody and will appear before magistrates in Llandudno on Monday.
Detectives are keen to hear from anyone who was in the Cae Glas area of Gaerwen between 3.45pm and 4pm – or on Cyttir Lane, near Tesco in Bangor between 3.50pm and 4.10pm.
They also want to hear from anyone who saw two cars. Detective Inspector Chris Bell said: ”We are appealing to anybody who witnessed a silver Citroen Picasso with the false number plate, YD58 UVC, in both Gaerwen or Cyttir Lane to come forward.”
”We are also keen on speaking to anybody who may have seen a silver Ford Galaxy with the registration DG13 WML in the Cyttir Lane area.”
North Wales Police have stressed it was an isolated incident and not a stranger attack.
