Search for couple after Aberffraw bike crash

Police are looking for a couple who helped a cyclist following a crash near Aberffraw.

A 66 year-old man is in a serious condition in hospital following a one-vehicle collision on an unclassified road to Hermon at just before 12.45pm last Wednesday (23rd May). He was taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor by ambulance.

Officers say they are keen to trace the couple, believed to be in their sixties and living in or around Holyhead. It’s believed they speak with an Irish accent.

Sergeant Meurig Jones said: ”We are keen on speaking to them and would ask that they contact us on 101, quoting reference number W067480, immediately.”
