A 48-hour dispersal order is being brought to tackle an increase in violent behaviour by youths in Pwllheli.
North Wales Police say it follows a growing number of anti-social behaviour incidents in the town in recent weeks.
From 2pm on Friday (27th November), anyone told to leave the area by an officer must do so – and anyone returning could be arrested.
Patrols will be stepped up over the weekend and parents have been urged to ensure they know where young people are.
District Inspector Lisa Jones said the order was one of a number of measures at their disposal to ”limit further issues for residents”.
She added: ”We are committed to ensure the actions of a disorderly minority do not affect our community, and we will not tolerate behaviour which brings misery to our residents.”
