Preparations are underway in Menai Bridge ahead of the town’s fair day.
Thousands are expected to visit the traditional street day on Thursday, which has been an annual event for generations.
Several roads will be closed in the town centre from 2pm on Wednesday afternoon (23rd October) until 7am on Friday (25th October) – including Telford Road, Bridge Street, Wood Street and Water Street. Diversions will be in place.
Both the Wood Street and Llys Menai car parks are occupied by the fair, but parking will be available at Bulkeley, Coed Cyrnol and the independently-run Waun car park.
Temporary bus stops will be running on Mona Road on both Wednesday and Thursday.
There are no loading or unloading restrictions in place on Dale Street, the High Street and parts of Cadnant Road until the road closures are lifted on Friday.
