Police in Bangor have closed a flat for 48 hours because of alleged drug crime.
Officers were granted a temporary closure order for the property on Dean Street following concerns from local residents and businesses over anti-social behaviour.
Closure notices have been posted on the door and windows of the flat. Anyone caught trying to enter the flat before Saturday could be arrested for breaching the order.
PC Lisa Thomas, based at Bangor police station, said: ”Nobody can underestimate the effects of drug crime and anti-social behaviour on a community. That is why we are committed to making neighbourhoods safer and more pleasant places to live.”
”The supply of drugs affects the quality of life for everyone and we will continue to use every available power for enforcement.”
