Police appeal after cyclist attacked by dog

Police are investigating after a dog attacked a cyclist in south east Anglesey.

The cyclist was travelling on the road between Llansadwrn and Llandegfan when he passed a man with a dog on a lead at around 8.30pm on Monday night (30th November).

The dog pulled at the leash, and as the cyclist passed, he was bit on the leg.

Detectives have described the dog walker as in his 70s, between 5′ and 5’4” tall and of stocky build. He was wearing a Trilby style hat and a heavy coat.

The dog was said to be a medium to large, light brown and long haired retriever.
