A two-day music festival has raised £4000 for the renal unit at Bangor’s Ysbyty Gwynedd.
Organisers of PhilFest, held at the Iorwerth Arms in Bryngwran last weekend, say the event will be held again next July – with more music and more tickets for sale.
Y Moniars, White Ether, Wil Tan and Sophie Jayne were among those performing at the sold-out festival, held in honour of dialysis patient Phil Blake, who volunteers at the community-owned pub.
MônFM also played its part in the event, with our team of presenters introducing the acts on stage and producing eighteen hours of live coverage on FM and online via our dedicated outside broadcast unit.
PhilFest 2019 will be held on Friday 19th and Saturday 20th July. Donations are still being taken for this year’s festival via JustGiving.
