Detectives say six people have been arrested in the past fortnight over so-called county lines drug dealing.
A 25 year-old man from Merseyside was questioned on Thursday after a large haul of class A drugs and cash were found at a property in Bangor. He’s been released on conditional bail, pending further inquiries.
District Inspector Jon Aspinall said Thursday’s intelligence-led raid ”was part of the continuing work being undertaken under Operation Rattle, in response to our communities concerns relating to drug supply and its consequences.”
”It is yet another example of where we have listened to concerns and acted upon them. Possession and distribution of controlled drugs will not be tolerated in our communities and we will continue to make determined efforts to disrupt this activity.”
”Our goal of targeting those who cause the most harm will continue directly targeting those involved in serious and organised crime. We are determined to keep our communities safe.”
In Caernarfon, a man and a woman were questioned after class A drugs were seized in the Glan Peris area on Wednesday. They were also released on bail, but remain under investigation.
