More roadworks are getting underway this week on the A55 on Anglesey.
Work starts on Monday night on the westbound carriageway between junctions 4 and 6 (Dalar Hir – Nant Turnpike).
From Tuesday (25th September), the entry and exit slip roads at junction 5 will be closed for around three or four weeks. Once work is complete westbound, the eastbound slip roads in the same area will be closed for around three weeks.
UK Highways said there’ll also be several overnight closures of the carriageways to allow for installing contraflows and other surfacing works.
The eastbound carriageway between junctions 4 and 6 will be shut from 8pm on Monday night (24th September) until 5am the following morning – with traffic being diverted via the A5.
Drivers wanting to leave the A55 are advised to carry onto the next junction (at Dalar Hir or Nant Turnpike), then exit and return on the opposite carriageway at junction 5. To join the A55, carry onto the next junction, exit and return on the westbound or eastbound carriageway.
UK Highways said it apologised for any inconvenience caused and would try to minimise any disruption.
