A man in his twenties has died after a car crash on the Llŷn Peninsula.
The collision, involving a black Skoda Octavia, occurred on an unclassified road between Llithfaen and Pentreuchaf in the early hours of Sunday morning (2nd February).
Emergency services were called out at just after 1.50am.
The man, who was from the local area, was pronounced dead at the scene – he has not been named but it’s understood his next of kin have been informed.
The road remained closed to traffic for almost six hours as an investigation into the crash began.
Sergeant Raymond Williams from the Roads Policing Unit said: ”I and my team offer our heartfelt condolences to the young man’s family and friends at this incredibly difficult time.”
He added: ”I am keen to hear from anyone who may have been travelling on the road between 1am and 2am.”
