A man has been arrested and charged after an incident which closed the Menai Suspension Bridge.
The bridge was closed for around an hour on Saturday afternoon (15th September) with police diverting traffic to the A55 via the Britannia Bridge. It was reopened at around 2.10pm.
The RNLI lifeboat from Beaumaris was also called out to the scene but was stood down after police resolved the incident.
Chief Superintendent Nigel Harrison said a 31 year-old man had been charged with several offences, including being a public nuisance.
He will appear in court on Monday.
