A man is being questioned after an armed robbery at a shoe shop in Bangor city centre.
Staff were threatened and cash was stolen from Shoe Zone in the Deiniol Centre at around 2.32pm on Easter Monday (22nd April).
Detectives said no one was injured but the shop assistant was left shocked by what happened.
A local man in his twenties was arrested on Wednesday and remains in police custody.
Following the robbery, Superintendent Nick Evans said: ”We are appealing to anyone who was in the vicinity at the time or who may have seen someone acting suspiciously in the area to contact police.”
”Our enquiries are ongoing and officers are keen to hear from anyone who believes they have any information which may be relevant to the investigation.”
