A Llangefni woman has been charged with drink driving.
The 28 year-old was stopped by police after she was caught driving without any lights in the town during the early hours of Sunday morning (17th June). She was arrested after failing a roadside breath test.
The woman will appear before magistrates in Caernarfon on Monday 2nd June.
Across North Wales, there were eight arrests on suspicion of driving under the influence of drink and drugs last weekend, including the Bangor and Bethesda areas. The drug drive arrests were made after drivers tested positive for cannabis or cocaine in a roadside swab test.
Last week, all four Welsh police forces teamed up to launch a month-long summer crackdown on drink and drug driving during the football World Cup.
