Residents in Llan Ffestiniog are being warned to remain vigilant after a spate of overnight thefts from vehicles.
Police say a number of vehicles in the area have been targeted and items have been stolen over the past month. Detectives are reminding residents to remove any valuables and make sure their vehicles are locked and secure.
Sergeant Iwan Jones from the local policing team said: ”The majority of vehicle crime is completely avoidable. Leaving items such as bags and mobile phones on display in your vehicle is an open invitation for a thief. It only takes a few seconds to remove them, please don’t make it easy for thieves.”
Anyone with information about the thefts – or anyone who may be involved in selling stolen goods – is urged to contact North Wales Police on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
