A Llanfair-yn-Neubwll man facing trial over fraud allegations linked with crossbow murder victim Gerald Corrigan has denied further charges.
Richard Wyn Lewis is accused of three counts of fraud involving over £1100 in goods and another charge of perverting the course of justice.
Last month, the 49 year-old old pleaded not guilty to six fraud charges involving up to £250,000. They include false representation surrounding the sale of Mr Corrigan’s home at Gof Du, near Holyhead.
The retired lecturer died in hospital after he was shot with a crossbow by Terrence Whall at his home near Holyhead on Good Friday last year. Whall was jailed for at least 31 years for murder.
The allegations came to light following a parallel investigation linked with the murder hunt.
Lewis’ partner, Siwan Maclean, is charged with money laundering involving a £50,000 bank deposit. She pleaded not guilty at an earlier hearing at Caernarfon Crown Court.
Lewis, who appeared via videolink, was remanded in custody following a preliminary hearing – while Maclean, who appeared in person, was released on bail. The pair are due to stand trial next April.
