Flasher spotted again near Llanfairpwll

Detectives are looking for a man who exposed himself to drivers on the A55 on Christmas Eve.

He was spotted flashing on the footbridge between Llanfairpwll and Gaerwen at around 12.30pm on Tuesday lunchtime (24th December).

It’s the second such incident in the area this month. A man was also spotted indecently exposing himself to motorists on Holyhead Road in Llanfairpwll at around 7.35am on 11th December.

It’s not known if the incidents are linked but a spokesperson for North Wales Police said the man’s behaviour was a ”dangerous distraction to motorists”.

Last month, two women were attacked by flashers in the Menai Bridge and Gaerwen areas.

A jogger was assaulted while she was out running near the Menai Bridge Viewpoint when she was approached at around 6.20pm on 6th November. A similar incident occurred six days later near a builders merchants at the Gaerwen industrial estate.

Detectives believed both incidents were linked and stepped up patrols in both areas.

They’re now appealing for anyone who saw the man on the footbridge – particularly if they have dashcam footage – to contact police on 101.
