A judge has delayed the case of four men charged after a teenager was shot dead outside a pub on the Llyn Peninsula.
Peter Colwell was found with shotgun wounds in the car park of the Ship Inn in Llanbedrog, near Pwllheli, in February.
Harry Butler (22) of Llaniestyn, Ben Fitzsimons (22) & Michael Fitzsimons (24) of Nanhoron and Ben Wilson (28) from Ely in Cambridgeshire, are all accused of possessing a loaded shotgun in a public place. Wilson is also charged with five further related offences.
All four men were due to enter pleas at Caernarfon Crown Court on Friday – but prosecutors told Judge Huw Rees that further issues needed to be resolved before proceeding with the case. Last month, it emerged that an indictment had only just been prepared by the CPS.
The defendants were released on bail until Thursday 7th December. A trial is expected to take place next May and could last for up to three weeks.
