Llangefni meet Llanystumdwy in FAW Trophy

The fourth round of this season’s FAW Trophy will see Llangefni Town entertain Llanystumdwy.

Cefni fought back to beat Hawarden Rangers 3-1 in Saturday’s third round clash at Talwrn Road while Llanystumdwy edged out Meliden in a nine-goal thriller.

Llanrug United’s reward for a 3-0 victory at Lex Glyndwr is a trip to Spar Mid Wales League outfit Llanidloes Town.

Gaerwen will travel to Mold Alex, but only if they can see off Greenfield first at home in Saturday’s rearranged tie at Lon Groes. It was one of two matches in the North postponed due to Storm Brian.

The rest of the Northern draw looks like this:
Buckley Town v FC Nomads of Connah’s Quay
Chirk AAA v New Brighton Villa
Conwy Borough v Cefn Albion
Berriew v Brymbo
Mynydd Isa Spartans v Knighton Town
Llanfair United v Corwen
Rhos Aelwyd v Trewern or Mochdre Sports

The fourth round will be played on Saturday 18th November.

Porthmadog will face either Holyhead Hotspur or Guilsfield in the quarter finals of the Huws Gray Cup.

Port beat Caernarfon Town 2-0 in what was their first Gwynedd derby victory at Y Traeth in nine years. The Harbourmen’s clash was the only first round match to fall foul of the weather and has yet to be rearranged.

The other second round ties:
Gresford Athletic v Penrhyncoch
Llandudno Junction v Rhyl
Airbus UK Broughton v Flint Town United
