Man denies estranged wife’s murder in Bangor

A man accused of killing his estranged wife in Bangor will go on trial in the New Year.

Paul Jordan pleaded not guilty to the murder of Betty Jordan in Maesgeirchen in July. Mrs Jordan (53) died in hospital after she was found with serious injuries at a house in Trem y Garnedd.

Mr Jordan (54), from Y Felinheli, spoke only to confirm his name and address when he appeared at Mold Crown Court on Tuesday.

The trial at Caernarfon will begin on Monday 15th January 2018 and is expected to last for one week.
