Two meetings will be held next Wednesday for residents to discuss plans for two gypsy and travellers’ sites with councillors.
It follows last month’s decision to submit planning applications for a permanent residential site for New Age travellers near Penhesgyn and a transit site in Star.
Anglesey Council said the meetings at their Llangefni offices would allow senior officers and councillors to explain more about the planning applications.
All local authorities across Wales are legally required to provide accommodation for Gypsy and Traveller communities under the Housing (Wales) Act 2014, but there are currently no official sites on the island.
A meeting for Penhesgyn residents will be held in committee room 1 and 2 from 5.45pm to 7pm, following by a meeting for Star residents in the council chamber from 7.30pm to 9pm.
