Seven charged with Gwynedd bus firm fraud

Seven people have been charged with fraud involving a Gwynedd bus firm.

It follows a three year investigation into the running of Penygroes-based Express Motors by a Crown Prosecution Service team looking into complex cases.

All seven are accused of conspiring to commit fraud by false representation – they will appear before magistrates in Caernarfon on Thursday 23rd November.

In August, the Traffic Commissioner for Wales, Nick Jones, announced the company’s licences would be revoked on New Year’s Eve after another investigation found maintenance records were falsified.
