Wanted Caernarfon man arrested

North Wales Police

A Caernarfon man who taunted police trying to find him has been arrested.

Martin Tate (31) was wanted on suspicion of assault – he is being questioned by detectives after he was located and caught on Tuesday evening.

When a public appeal was released on North Wales Police’s Facebook page last Wednesday, Tate commented: ”Can’t catch me hahaha…I see who has the last laugh now”. But the force replied: ”Hi Martin – you can run but you can’t hide. See you soon.”

Tate went onto post more taunts against officers until he was arrested. Police have thanked the public for their help.
