Drink driver charged after Pentraeth crash

A man has been charged with drink driving after a car crash near Pentraeth.

Police say the car overturned several times after the driver lost control between Menai Bridge and Pentraeth on Sunday night.

He was arrested after failing a roadside breath test and is due to appear in court.

PC Scott Martin, an officer with the Western Roads Policing Unit in Llandygai, tweeted the driver was not injured in the crash – but he recorded a reading of 58mg of alcohol in his blood, above the legal limit of 35mg.
