Child injured after fall from moving car

A child has been taken to hospital with minor injuries after falling out of a moving car in Caernarfon.

Police said they were alerted to the incident near the Texaco garage on South Road at just before 12.40pm on Tuesday lunchtime (2nd July).

The child was reportedly strapped into its seat when it fell out of the silver car. An urgent appeal was put out on social media after the eyewitness failed to give any registration details.

Later that afternoon, officers managed to locate the child, who was taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor.

An investigation into the incident is continuing and anyone with information should contact Caernarfon police station on 101, quoting reference no. X092231.
