36 cannabis plants have been seized by police after a raid in Holyhead.
Patrol officers carried out a search at an undisclosed address in the town in the early hours of Thursday morning (21st February) – it was unoccupied at the time.
No arrests were made but detectives said they knew the identity of the offenders, who will face prosecution.
A police spokesperson said intelligence suggested that the plants were being prepared for illegal distribution. Equipment used to cultivate the plants was destroyed following the raid.
