Caernarfon: man arrested in armed police drugs raid

A man is being questioned after a drugs raid by armed police in Caernarfon.

Firearms officers carried out a search at an address in Glan Seiont at just after 9am on Friday morning (19th June).

A 51 year-old man was arrested after class A drugs were found at the property. He is now in custody on suspicion of being involved in supply.

Sergeant Non Edwards from North Wales Police said the raid took place following intelligence from the public. She added: ”Local residents should not have to endure this type of behaviour in their neighbourhood.”
