Biker dies in Trearddur Bay crash

A man has died in a two vehicle crash in Trearddur Bay.

The motorcyclist was involved in a collision with a Ford Focus car on Trearddur Road at around 11.30am on Wednesday morning (30th May) – he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Emergency services, including the Wales Air Ambulance, attended the scene – the road remained closed for several hours while an investigation into the crash was launched.

It’s the second fatal crash in the North West this week. Another motorcyclist was killed in a similar crash on the A470 between Dolwyddelan and Blaenau Ffestiniog on Bank Holiday Monday.

Sergeant Raymond Williams said: ”Sadly, we are now investigating this as a fatal road traffic collision and our thoughts remain with the man’s family at this sad time. We are appealing for any witnesses to make contact with us as soon as possible to help with the investigation.”
