Arson attack on stolen car near Bangor

Police are investigating how a stolen car was later found burnt out on the outskirts of Bangor.

The white Land Rover Discovery 4×4 was taken from outside a house near Engedi on the afternoon of Monday 3rd June. It was later discovered, completely gutted, near a quarry at Llanllechid.

Detectives say they’re keen to trace the movements of the 4×4 on the day of the theft.

DS Trystan Davies from Llangefni CID said: ”I am appealing to anyone who saw this vehicle anytime between 8am and 2.03pm on Monday June 3rd, to get in touch with us.”

”I would appeal to any member of the public who has information regarding this reported theft and subsequent arson of the vehicle.”
