Antiques stolen in Pwllheli burglary

Antiques and silverware were stolen by thieves from a house in Pwllheli over the weekend.

Police say the burglary occurred at some time between 10pm last Saturday night (24th November) and the early hours of Sunday morning (25th November).

Cash was stolen, along with a Royal Merchandise Gold Collection, including four cups, four saucers and a teapot. Detectives have warned local dealers and antique shops to be careful if any similar items are taken in.

Sergeant Steve Williams said: ”We are keen to hear from anyone who may have been offered any items matching those mentioned. We urge home owners to carry out simple security measures ensuring all doors and windows are locked, and keys are not left in obvious places.”
