Dean Skillin murder: suspect remanded in custody

A Bangor man accused of murder is due to stand trial next March.

Brandon Sillence was charged with killing Dean Skillin following a disturbance near the Waverley Hotel in the city last Saturday night (19th September).

Mr Skllin (20) from Caernarfon died in hospital shortly after the incident on Station Road.

Sillence (24) from Toronnen is also accused of assaulting another man on the same night. He appeared briefly at Mold Crown Court on Friday morning via videolink from HMP Altcourse in Liverpool.

Judge Rhys Rowlands fixed a trial date for Monday 22nd March 2021 at Caernarfon Crown Court.

Sillence was remanded in custody until Friday 11th December.
