Women arrested after Holyhead teenager’s death

A woman has been arrested following the death of a Holyhead teenager.

Police are trying to trace the last known movements of Jade Mitchell, who was found unresponsive at a house on Thomas Street at just after 6am last Friday morning (19th June).

The 18 year-old was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. The coroner for North West Wales, Dewi Pritchard Jones, has been informed.

A local woman was arrested on Monday and is being questioned on suspicion of supplying controlled drugs.

DS Arwel Hughes said: ”Following the tragic death of Jade, a police investigation was commenced. As such we are keen to trace Jade’s last known movements.”

”Our thoughts remain with Jade’s family and friends at this tragic time and we would ask that their privacy is respected.”
