Two men seriously injured in Caernarfon hit-and-run crash

Two men have been seriously injured after their motorbike was hit by a car on a Caernarfon estate.

Detectives are looking for the driver of a silver Ford Focus hatchback, which failed to stop after colliding with a white off-road motorbike on Ffordd Coed Marion around 4.40pm on Sunday afternoon (24th November).

One man was taken to a specialist trauma unit at the Royal Stoke University Hospital while the other was taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor.

Sergeant Meurig Jones from North Wales Police said: ”The male driver of the Ford Focus failed to stop and left the scene. The damaged vehicle was located a short time later on Lon Eilian.”

”Officers are keen to speak with anyone who saw the collision or the manner of riding of the motorcycle prior to the collision.”

Anyone with information about the crash – or who may have seen the silver car being driven from Ffordd Coed Marion to Lon Eirian – to contact the Roads Policing Unit on 101, quoting reference no. X170291.
