Two women attacked by group in Bangor

Detectives are investigating a group attack on two women in a supermarket car park in Bangor.

They were approached by three women and two men outside Asda on Farrar Road at just before midnight last Friday (15th November)

One of the women in the group assaulted one of the two victims – the other was attacked by the one of the men.

The two women then fled towards the nearby Academi nightclub on Deiniol Road – it’s believed they were not badly injured. The gang left the scene of the attack in a small red car at around 12.15am that night.

One of the female suspects was described as around 22-23 years old with brown hair and dressed all in black. Another woman was described as around 29-30 years old with blonde hair and wearing a blue and white puffer jacket.

A spokesperson at Bangor police station said: ”We are appealing for anyone who has witnessed this incident, or remembers seeing any females matching the descriptions around this time or knows who they might be. Also, if anyone was outside Academi nightclub…at this time that may have seen the incident.”
