A farm labourer killed when he was hit by a car has been named.
Jamie Thomas Stubbs (22) from Rhosgoch was struck by a blue Ford Fiesta on an unclassified road in Amlwch on Wednesday night (4th September). He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
In a brief statement on Friday, his family said: ”Jamie was a very much loved by his mum, dad, brother and sister and will be sadly missed.”
Police are still investigating the collision, which occurred on an unclassified road between Amlwch and Rhosgoch at around 10.15pm.
Sergeant Raymond Williams of the Roads Policing Unit said: ”We are continuing to appeal to anybody who may have been travelling in the vicinity and who may have seen a pedestrian to contact us.”
”We are also interested to hear from anybody who had been driving in the area just prior to the collision and who may have dash cam footage that could assist with our investigation.”
