A man in his twenties has died after he was hit by a car in Amlwch.
The pedestrian was struck by a blue Ford Fiesta on a road between Amlwch and Rhosgoch at around 10.15pm on Wednesday night (4th September).
He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics and the road remain closed until late on Thursday afternoon.
Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
Sergeant Raymond Williams from the Roads Policing Unit said: ”Our thoughts remain with the family of the young man involved in last night’s collision.”
”We are appealing to anybody who may have been travelling in the vicinity and who may have seen a pedestrian to contact us. We are also interested to hear from anybody who had been driving in the area just prior to the collision and who may have dash cam footage that could assist with our investigation.”
