A driver has been arrested after a high speed police chase ended in Bangor.
A North Wales Police car was rammed by a stolen Audi, which was taken during a knife-point robbery in Manchester.
Officers said they managed to pick up the Audi on the A55 near the city overnight on Wednesday. The vehicle managed to continue after colliding with the police car, but it crashed shortly afterwards.
PC Scott Martin from the Western Roads Policing Unit said knives were recovered from the pocket of the Audi’s door. The driver was found to be over the drink-drive limit and tested positive for cocaine.
