A pensioner has died following a road crash in Valley earlier this month.
A man in his seventies was driving a white Peugeot car when it crashed on Gorad Road at around 3.20pm on Monday 20th May.
He was taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor but later transferred to a specialist trauma unit in Stoke where he died the following Friday.
An investigation into the crash is continuing and forensic experts are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
Bryn Evans, who works as an evidence gatherer for North Wales Police, said: ”Our thoughts remain with the gentleman’s family at this sad time.”
”We are appealing to anybody who may have witnessed the collision, or anybody who may have seen the Peugeot being driven just prior to it colliding with a wall to come forward.”
”Equally we are appealing to anybody who may have been travelling along Gorad Road at around the same time as the collision and who may have dash cam to contact us.”
Anyone with information should contact the Western Roads Policing Unit in Llandygai on 101, quoting reference no. X069139.
