Police have warned a wanted man from Holyhead that he’s only ‘making it worse’ for himself.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Brian George Owens following a series of domestic-related incidents. The 28 year-old from Maes Cyttir is also wanted on suspicion of criminal damage and harrassment.
Owens served a jail term last year for repeatedly attacking his former partner. When he was due to be sentenced, he skipped court and fled to the Republic of Ireland with his daughter and another woman.
After three days on the run, he returned to Holyhead and gave himself up to police – he was jailed for a total of 38 weeks for three counts of assault and sending a menacing message.
In a direct appeal to Owens, North Wales Police tweeted: ”Brian, if you’re reading this hand yourself in – you’re only making it worse for yourself.”
Anyone with information about his whereabouts is urged to contact North Wales Police on 101 or the control room via the live web chat.
