Two people have been arrested following drugs raids in Bangor.
A man and a woman, both from the city, are being questioned on suspicion of being involved in supplying controlled drugs.
They were arrested on the Maesgeirchen estate on Tuesday morning after detectives received intelligence about drug activity in the area.
Detective Inspector Andrew Gibson said: ”We want to reassure the people of Bangor that we are taking positive action. By conducting these warrants our aim is to cause disruption to the trade in illegal drugs across the area.”
”These types of warrants would not be possible without the support and assistance of the local communities. I appeal to anyone with information linked to drugs supply of any kind to make contact with us. We will always treat any information in the upmost confidence.”
